Abrolhos Islands Aquaculture Trip 4 October 10th – 12th 2025
Trip coordinator – Dylan Walker
If you’re keen please book the relevant ticket below and in the notes of the booking please state which other trips you could make.
Trip Deposit – Only 10 people can attend per trip. If you are within the first 10 (and received your confirmation), but later remove yourself from the trip your trip deposit will be forfeited. However, if you are on the waitlist (ie: do not receive confirmation) and are unsuccessful UWAUC will issue a full refund. The trip deposit is refundable if the date you have selected doesn’t go ahead, or if the trip is overbooked and we can’t get you onto that one or swap you onto another trip that you can’t make. Other than that, it is non refundable.
The trip deposit is the booking fee with UWAUC. The remainder of the fee is payable to Central TAFE. The prices will be around $750 full price and $650 for concession card holders (uni students are not concession). This includes all meals, tank fills, and accomodation while over at the Abrolhos (we’ll sleep on the boat). Please note accommodation the night before departure will be required and will be an additional expense
Note: Prices with Central TAFE do not apply to international students or temporary visa holders, who will be charged the “commercial rate” which is around $3,000.
The TAFE rates offered are conditional on all passengers taking part in a number of units from their Cert III in Aquaculture (See attached flyer from a previous year – Scuba Diving 2017 V7MF). Assessment is mostly observational and is quite straight forward. Registration and final payment are though Central Tafe.
