It’s that time of year again…

That’s another year wrapped for the UWA underwater club! Its time to sum up the year we had and elect committee members for the following year. If you are interested in getting more involved with the club and contributing to how it runs, please get in touch with us to find out how you can help.

IMPORTANT:
We need enough members at the AGM to reach a quorum (meaning any voting or committee selection done at the AGM is official). If you can’t make it to the AGM, please assign a proxy to someone who is to vote on your behalf using the form below (it takes 1 minute).  If you don’t know someone who is attending, you can leave it blank in which case your proxy will be given to the current President. Volunteers needed

UWAUC is run entirely through the hard work of our volunteers.  It can be a bit of work, but it’s also really rewarding and a lot of fun.  We need people to plan dives, and trips, look after dive gear, help maintain the boat and truck, run shore dives, organize social nights, open the shed for equipment hire etc. etc.

Positions up for election are:

• President
• Vice President
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Large Equipment Officer
• Small Equipment Officer
• Shed Coordinator
• Skipper Training Coordinator
• Membership Officer
• Shore Dive Coordinator
• Trip Dive Coordinator
• Dive Coordinator
• Student Council Representative
• Social Coordinator
• Website Officer
• General Member (Multiple General Members are allowed, there is no specific role as such, but it is a good introduction to the club, and you can help however you feel you can)
• Shed Volunteers
